A Smart Solution to Public Access Naloxone and Opioid Overdose Response Tools
Opioid overdose is currently the leading cause of death among adults 50 years old and younger in the United States.
Data driven, innovative solutions to address this epidemic are crucial to reducing fatalities and getting people into the right treatment for opioid use disorder.
The NaloxBox mission is to improve the capacity of bystander rescuers to save the lives of victims of opioid overdose by increasing access to publicly available overdose response resources in settings most in need of quickly accessible, public use naloxone. Naloxone is an opioid overdose reversal drug.
All NaloxBox units are optically pleasing, transparent polycarbonate surface mounted enclosures that provide organizations a solution to protecting and providing access to lifesaving naloxone in an easy to recognize cabinet placed in a central location in high-traffic or high-risk buildings and organizations.
All units are gasketed and are opened with the turn of a thumb-lock for ease of access. The boxes do have an eyelet for a locking mechanism or safety seal, if preferred.
Each unit will ship with:
a bilingual overdose recognition and response instruction booklet
CPR rescue breathing device stored in the Box. -
PLEASE NOTE: NaloxBox does not ship with naloxone . Please see our resource page to help identify how to obtain your choice of naloxone for your NaloxBox.
Our mission is important; Increase Access, Reduce Stigma and Save Lives One BOX at a time.
Thank you for becoming part of the solution!
